    SPEED LEARNING FORMATS

    E-Writing helps everyone
    write better and read faster.

    E-Writing is the process
    of breaking up language
    into meaningful parts.

    It is like
    diagramming a sentence,
    but without the rules
    and fancy labels.

    One thought or phrase
    on each line.

    Language skills will improve
    without the need
    to memorize terminology.

    Students learn sentence parts
    from trying to find
    the best way
    to break up a sentence.

    CLASSROOM EXERCISE:

    Give students
    a chapter of a book
    to E-Write.

    They can use any
    word processing software
    to break up the text
    according to the
    E-Writing guidelines.

    Test their reading speed
    before and after e-writing.

    Test their comprehension
    before and after e-writing.

    PETERSON READING

    Our electronic recordings provide
    high-rate input.
    ------------------------

    Peterson Reading inputs
    at the rate of
    10,000 to 12,000
    words per hour.

    4,000 to 5000
    phrases per hour.

    500 hours of input
    equals 5 million words
    equals 2 million phrases.
    -------------------

    RATE OF AUDITORY INPUT

    Oral input to infants
    can include serveral dozen
    to several hundred
    new phrases per day.
    -------------------------------

    Q.
    Why do so many persons
    claim that the brain
    learns more slowly
    after the first few months
    or age two?

    A.
    THE RATE OF
    ORAL INPUT SLOWS

    Here are some
    possible reasons why:

    1.
    Child becomes
    less dependent on parent.

    2.
    Child learns
    to crawl and walk away.

    3.
    Parents reduce
    the time they
    hold the child.

    4.
    Child has less contact
    with parents and phrases.

    5.
    Parent returns
    to older children.

    6.
    Parent may have
    another baby.

    7.
    Parent returns to work.

    Any of the above
    can make
    the learning rate
    drop precipitously.

    stimulate your
    nanosecond brain.

  • LEARNING TO REMEMBER

    You need memory
    to speak and write.

    You make memories with notes
    or our memory patterns.

    MAKING MEMORIES WITH NOTES

Each word you write by hand
    may be connected
    to dozens or thousands
    of other words
    in your mind

    Looking at your memory pattern
    triggers many phrase combinations
    for your tellbacks.

    ------------------------

    TYPING PHRASE LISTS
    TO CREATE MEMORIES

    Use copying to help memory.

    Memorize by copying by hand
    or on the keyboard.

    Either method creates
    tactile and kinesthetic memories
    that support your
    visual and auditory memories.

    The combined VAKT system
is the fastest way to learn
    any vocabulary or concepts.
    --------------------------

    CREATING MEMORIES
    HOW IT WORKS

    Phrases become clusters
    then sentences.

    The line separation between sentences
makes it easy for the mind.
    to isolate the complete thought.

    Higher speed reading
    of clustered ewriting formats
    makes more impact
    on your memory.
    ----------------------------------

    USE 444 TO CREATE MEMORIES

    444 achieves our goal
    by increasing learner interaction.
    with the VAKT memories.

    Each repetition of phrases
    connects to dozens or thousands
of additional phrases stored in the brain

Don't worry if students have difficulty
    copying all of every phrase.

    It is unnecessary for students
    to trace all the letters
    or copy all the letters.

    Why?

The mind is able to make the sounds
faster than the fingers can trace.

    The mind learns
    to finish the phrase auditorily
even if learners have not been able
    to complete all
    the copying or tracing.

    Don't let them stay frustrated
if they can't finish every phrase.

    Within 10 or 20 hours
    they will be much faster.
    at handwriting or typing.

    VAKT responses
    will achieve our goal
    by increasing learner interaction.
    ------------------------

    HANDWRITING OR TYPING?

    I prefer that students
    handwrite because:

    1. They can quickly learn
to handwrite 30 words per minute.

    2. They are very accurate
    when they copy or trace.

    3. To reach the same accuracy
    and speed on the computer
will require 30 to 100 hours
    of additional
    typing tutor practices.
